Lackawanna County VA Director to Serve as State Association President
Director of the Lackawanna County Veterans Affairs Office, David M. Eisele, will serve a two-year term as president of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s State Association of County Directors of Veterans Affairs.
Eisele is a Marine Corps veteran. He has been the director of the county’s office since 2016.
The state association assists veterans in transitioning to civilian life and preparing applications for various assistance.
Eisele also serves on the Pennsylvania State Veterans Commission, Pennsylvania War Council, Lackawanna County Suicide Prevention Coalition and the Governor’s Advisory Committee.
He is the second local person to serve in this role. The late Rocco Valvano held the post in 1987.
